- Valid prescription
You may only order glasses through this web site using a valid and up to date prescription from an optometrist, optician or ophthalmologist. You are responsible for ensuring the lenses that you order match lenses as prescribed by your optometrist. If you wish i-glasses to help check the prescription information, you can upload the prescription (scanned) at the time of selecting your product.
- The importance of regular eye examinations and the detection of eye disease
You understand that even if you are ordering glasses from the i-glasses web site, it is still important to schedule regular eye examinations with your eye care professional. Many eye diseases such as glaucoma have no symptoms in the early stages and will only be detected if you continue to have regular eye examinations.
- No childrens glasses
We do not stock any childrens glasses.
- Fitting and frame adjustments
We do not offer a frame fitting or adjustment service. It is possible that your glasses may require adjustments such as tightening or loosing or the arms. You can visit an optician or optometrist to have a frame adjusted, however they may charge you for this service.
- Order cancellation
i-glasses reserves the right to cancel any orders. Reasons for cancellation may include, but are not limited to inappropriate use of the shopping site, circumstances where we believe payment details may be fraudulent, insufficient information is provided for us to process the order. If you order is cancelled, you will be notified by email and you will not be charged.
- Technical problems completing glasses
Due to some combinations of frame selection, lens selection and prescription, it may not be technically possible to complete your order. If this situations you will be contacted to discuss alternative options. You will have the option of canceling the order and receiving a refund or credit.
- Termination of membership
i-glasses reserves the right to suspend or delete your user account if we have reason to suspect that you have breached any of the terms or conditions.
- Accurate information
You agree that all information provided when ordering and creating your account is correct. It is your responsibility to ensure your details are up to date when placing an order. You may not to register under multiple identities. i-glasses may delete additional accounts that we believe belong to the same person.
All parties agree that New Zealand courts will be vested with jurisdiction in the event of any dispute arising from this agreement or use of this web site.
- Applicable law
All parties agree that this agreement is governed by the law of New Zealand and that the law of New Zealand will apply to any dispute arising from this agreement or use of this web site.

You will receive an email when your order is shipped. You must notify us within 14 days of this email if you believe your order has not been delivered.
Additional delivery charges will apply for rural and overseas delivery.
As outlined in our 14 day money back guarantee, any item that you are not happy with can be returned within 14 days. The item must be undamaged and must reach us in its original condition and in its original packaging. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
If the goods are faulty or incorrectly shipped you need to contact us within 14 days and we will send a pre-paid courier pack in which you can return the goods.
Once you have returned the goods you can get a refund or a credit. We will either refund you by the same method in which you paid, or apply a credit to your account.
- 10 day home try on - Try before you buy
You can select upto 3 frames which we will send you for a 10 day home trial. There is an apro fee and delivery fee which will apply and these are non-refundable. We will provide a pre-paid courier bag and packaging in which to return the frames. The frames must be returned to us in their original condition within 10 days. One safe and timely receipt of the frames we will credit your account with a voucher of equivalent value to the apro fee. The voucher is not redeemable for cash and can only be used against purchases made on the i-glasses web site. If frames are not returned within 10 days we reserve the right to charge the full price for each item. We will attempt to contact you before making any additional charges to your credit card. If frames are not returned and we are unable to establish contact with you within 30 days you will be liable for the cost of the glasses plus debt collection costs.
